Covering complex M&A and corporate finance transactions is usually the prerogative of large law firms. However, based on my experience gathered in the areas of banking and finance law in almost 20 years working in a senior position within the legal department of a major German banking group in both Frankfurt and Luxembourg, I now advise and assist my clients – both banks and corporates – on such banking related transactions and questions arising therefrom (including legal project management).

My advisory practice is focussed on advising/assisting with regard to legal issues which arise from domestic and cross border corporate finance, project- and acquisition transactions as well as M&A transactions. Such work includes inter alia syndicated/bilateral loans, promissory note loans/Schuldscheindarlehen, bonds and a variety of other aspects inherent in M&A transactions (e.g. Mandate Letters, Confidentiality Agreements). I further assist my clients not only during the structuring and documentation phase and at closing, but also on matters arising during the term of a financing transaction.
